Do I need to purchase tickets to go to Downey’s Farm Store?
No. Tickets are not required to shop at the Farm Store.
How much is parking?
Parking is free.
Where do I park?
Park in the main parking lot. If this area is full, there are North and East parking lots. Do not park on the road. There is ample space in our parking lots. If you park on the road, you will be ticketed and/or towed.
What form of payment does Downey’s Farm accept?
Debit and Credit (Mastercard or Visa) are accepted. Food areas accept debit/credit only. There are limited areas at the farm that accept cash.
Do I need to purchase tickets to purchase a pumpkin from the front of the farm store?
No. Tickets are not required to enter the area where the pumpkins are displayed for purchasing.
Do I need to purchase a ticket for the Pumpkinfest Play Area?
Yes. Tickets must be purchased in advanced prior to coming to the Pumpkinfest Play Area. Please purchase online at www.downeysfarm.com There are NO TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE ADMISSION BOOTH. DOWNEY’S FARM ADMISSION IS ONLINE ONLY.
Can I purchase tickets in person at the Admission Booth?
No. There are NO TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE ADMISSION BOOTH. DOWNEY’S FARM ADMISSION IS ONLINE ONLY. Tickets must be purchased in advance online at www.downeysfarm.com
Are there a limited number of tickets per day?
Yes. We recommend purchasing your tickets a minimum of 2-3 days in advance on our website. Once the date is sold out, there are no more tickets available for that date. Please do not come to the farm for the Pumpkinfest Play Area without a ticket. There are no tickets available at the admission booth.
Do I need to wait in line if I buy my ticket online?
Yes. You need to check-in and get your wristband. Purchasing a ticket online means you have guaranteed entry. You still need to check-in at the Admission Booth.
Do I need to book online if I have a Season Pass?
No. Please scan in at Admission upon arrival. All Season Pass holders must abide by farm rules.
I am attending with my children. Do I need to purchase a ticket for Pumpkinfest Play Area?
Yes. All guests ages 2-92 years old who are entering the Pumpkinfest Play Area require a ticket.
I just want to see the Farm Animals. Do I need to purchase a ticket for Pumpkinfest Play Area?
Yes. The Farm Animals are included in the admission price and a ticket must be purchased to access this area.
I only want to access the Corn Maze. Do I need to purchase a ticket for Pumpkinfest Play Area?
Yes. The Corn Maze is included in the admission price and a ticket must be purchased to access this area.
Are pumpkins included in the price of the Pumpkinfest Play Area?
No. Pumpkins are a separate price and are not included in the admission price for the Pumpkinfest Play Area.
Is it busy in the Fall at Downey’s Farm?
Yes. This is the busiest time of the year. If you wish to come on a day when it is not as busy, we recommend a weekday visit. Mornings are also a great time to come.
What is the difference between weekdays and weekends at Downey’s Pumpkinfest Play Area?
There are additional activities included on the weekend. These are Live Entertainment, Dog Shows, Pumpkin Inflatable, Barn Bounce, Puppet Shows, and continuous Wagon Rides.
I have Free Passes to attend Downey’s Pumpkinfest. Do I need to book online?
No. Please come to the farm and go to Admission Booth. The Pumpkinfest Play Area is open daily until October 31st from 9:30am – 5pm.
I can’t find my tickets. What do I do?
If you cannot locate your tickets, email info@downeysfarm.com and we are happy to assist.
Do I need to print my tickets
Not at all. Please use your phone and show the QR code to our Admission Staff. Please have your QR code ready prior to Admission Booth for faster check-in process.
How do I redeem my gift card for the Play Area?
Go to www.downeysfarm.com . Once you have selected your date, filled out your information, and are ready to check out, select ‘Add Promo/Voucher/Gift Card’, located above the Total. Type in your gift card code.
I purchased tickets to Downey’s Pumpkinfest Play Area but it is raining. Can I get a refund?
No. All ticket sales are final. Downey’s Farm is open rain or shine. Please see your confirmation for further details regarding our cancellation policy. If you are concerned about weather, we suggest waiting to purchase your tickets and checking the forecast to see when the weather works on your end.
What if it rains during my visit?
Some attractions may close in inclement weather until conditions permit safe operation. Downey’s Farm cannot issue rain checks or refunds for inclement weather.
I purchased tickets to Downey’s Pumpkinfest Play Area but something came up and I can’t attend. Can I get a refund?
No. All ticket sales are final. Please see your confirmation for further details regarding our cancellation policy and how you can rebook your visit.
I made an error when booking Downey’s Pumpkinfest Play Area. What do I do?
See your confirmation email. Select ‘Rebooking’ to choose another date. If you require support, email info@downeysfarm.com with your booking number.
I can only see one ticket for the time I would like to book for Pumpkinfest Play Area but I need more. What should I do?
The tickets are shown in real time. If the ticketing is only allowing you to select 1 ticket, there is only 1 ticket left for that day. Please only select a day that has the number of tickets you require [and not less]. We are unable to sell you more tickets at admission.
Are there Farm Animals? Can I feed them?
Yes! We have goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, alpaca, donkey, and cows. There is animal feed available for purchase. Please do not bring food from home to feed our animals.
Are there wagon rides?
Yes! Wagon Rides are available on weekdays at 11am & 2pm and rides run continuously on Saturdays, Sundays and Thanksgiving Monday. Wagon Rides are included with Downey’s Pumpkinfest Play Area Admission.
Is the Corn Maze included in Downey’s Pumpkinfest Play Area Admission?

Does the Pumpkinfest Play Area include Apple Picking
No. The Pumpkinfest Play Area is a separate activity. Downey’s Strawberry & Apple Farm operates the Apple Orchard and is located across the road.
Are there wagon rides?
Yes! Wagon Rides are available both on weekdays and on weekends. Wagon rides are included in the Play Area Admission. Wagon ride times are available daily at 11am and 2pm.
Are there Farm Animals? Can I feed them?
Yes! We have goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, alpaca, donkey, and cows. There is animal feed available for purchase. Please do not bring food from home to feed our animals.
Do you offer Birthday Parties?
Downey’s Farm no longer offers Birthday Parties. You are more that welcome to purchase tickets online www.downeysfarm.com and meet friends and family at the farm.
I want to have my child’s birthday party and arrange for friends and family to join. Can I set up my own birthday party at the farm and reserve tables?
You are more than welcome to purchase tickets for your group online at www.downeysfarm.com. We are unable to reserve tables for your group. No outside food, picnics, coolers, balloons or birthday cake is permitted at the farm. If any of these items are brought to the farm, we kindly ask that you return them to your vehicle.
Do you offer Company Events?
Downey’s Farm is a great spot to host clients, and treat your employees and their families to a day on the farm. Please email info@downeysfarm.com to receive information on admission & gift cards. .
Are there washrooms at Downey’s Farm?
There are portable washrooms.
Is the farm stroller friendly
Yes; the terrain is grass, gravel and asphalt. Larger wheeled-strollers and wagons do much better than an umbrella type/small wheeled stroller. *IF THERE HAS BEEN SIGNIFICANT RAIN, the Play Area will be muddy and not ideal for strollers.
If the farm wheelchair accessible?
Yes; the terrain is grass, gravel and asphalt. Our wagons are equipped with ramps, and portable washroom has wheelchair accessibility. *IF THERE HAS BEEN SIGNIFICANT RAIN, the Play Area will be muddy and not ideal for wheelchairs. Please email info@downeysfarm.com if you have tickets purchased. If you have challenges during your visit, please see any Team Member to assist you.
Are there strollers, wagons or wheelchairs to rent?
We do not provide rental service for these items.
Do you accept Access2 Cards?
Access2 Cards are accepted from May 23rd until October 31st. People with an Access2 Card receive complimentary admission. Please show Access2 Card upon arrival at the Admission Booth to receive complimentary admission. No pre-booking required. All other guests in your group, including support staff, must prepurchase a ticket in advance online at www.downeysfarm.com
Are you offering School Trips?
Spring, Summer and Fall Trips are available. These are all Self-led. Downey’s Farm does not offer guided programs. Please visit our Groups Section at www.downeysfarm.com
Do you permit Church Groups, Scouts, Camps?
Group ticketing is available. Please purchase your tickets in advance online www.downeysfarm.com

The Bakery Cafe offers sandwiches, paninis, meat pies, savoury pastries, kids meals, coffee, apple cider, slushies, hot chocolate. Located inside Farm Store.

YES!! We make pumpkin donuts everyday.
Can I bring my own food to the farm?
No outside food, coolers or picnicking is allowed at Downey’s Farm. Baby food, formula, water bottles and small snacks are permitted. Guests with baskets, coolers and personal picnic items will be asked to return these items to their vehicles or eat at the picnic tables located outside the Play Area.
What are the farm store hours?
The Farm Store is open daily from May 23rd – October 31st from 9am – 5pm.
Do I need to purchase tickets to go to Downey’s Farm Store?

What Fruits & Vegetables do you carry?
We carry Ontario Fruits & Vegetables. As we only carry what is grown locally, produce is season dependant and as such, is not available year-round. See our crop calendar on our website www.downeysfarm.com and follow us on social media @Downeysfarm to see what is in season.
What else is in the farm store?
Our Bakery carries fresh baked pies, breads, pastries, buttertarts, loaves, cookies, donuts…tons of delicious treats to satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth. We carry a large assortment of preserves, honey, maple syrup and cider, and well-known products from DeBoer’s and Sheldon Creek Dairy. Lots of unique gifts, toys and sweets.
Are strawberries/raspberries ready yet??!
We get SO EXCITED for Strawberry Season too! Strawberry season starts mid to end June, dependant on weather. You will find all PYO information by visiting www.downeysupickfarm.ca
How much are strawberries? Can my toddler come? Can I bring my stroller?

Does the Play Area include Strawberry or Raspberry Picking?
No. The Play Area is a separate activity and requires a separate ticket.
Is Downey’s Farm & Downey’s Strawberry & Apple Farm the same?

Which side of the road is strawberry/raspberry picking on today?
The location of picking is determined each morning. This is based on quantity of fruit/picking conditions. Downey’s Strawberry & Apple Farm is located north of Downey’s Farm.
Can I bring my dog to the farm?
We love your pets but with so many kiddos and farm animals around, please leave all your animal friends at home. The farm does not permit outside animals at the farm [except service animals]. We also do not want to see any animals left unattended in hot vehicles. Please leave your pets at home or with a friend/family member. This includes, but not limited to: Dogs, Cats, Parrots, Bunnies.
Can I bring my service dog to the farm?
Yes. Service Dogs are welcome at the farm. IMPORTANT: Dogs MUST be wearing proper vest at all times for entry. This allows our staff and guests to recognize that your dog is a service dog. If your dog doesn’t have a vest, your dog will be denied entry.
I am a Photographer. Can I book Photography Sessions or Mini Shoots at Downey’s Farm.
Please email Downey’s Farm to obtain a Photography Permit. Downey’s Farm is not a location to host mini-sessions as Downey’s Farm has an exclusive photographer. Photography pass must be presented upon arrival at Admissions Booth. Photography must occur during operation hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday through Friday. There are no photography permits available on weekends. We reserve the right to end any session if we believe it is interfering with our guest’s enjoyment, or in the event a permit was not obtained.
Can I use a drone at Downey’s Farm?
No. Drones are prohibited.
Smoking Policy
For the convenience of all our guests, smoking of any kind, including vapor and e-cigarettes, is not permitted at the farm. Thank you for your cooperation.
Cannabis Policy
Cannabis and related paraphernalia are not permitted on Farm property at any time.
