We are so excited to welcome you to Downey's Farm.  For 30 years, we have been Growing Fruit, Fun & Memories.  We are committed to growing fresh fruit and vegetables using sustainable farming practices, and educating guests about agriculture while having lots of fun along the way.  We work hard to bring you the best products and keep our business safe and enjoyable for all guests.

This 100-acre farm has been owned and operated by the Downey family since 1920.  Downey's Farm is a 4th generation farm and 2nd generation for agri-tourism.

In 1987, founders John & Ruth Downey, opened a roadside stand where their 5 children sold sweet corn so they could buy additional hockey equipment.

Soon, we renovated the dairy barn to house a farm market with fresh Ontario Fruits & Vegetables, homemade preserves, honey, maple syrup, and in-house bakery. In 2001, the addition of Downey's Estate Winery was opened.

The farm continues to be privately owned and operated by John & Ruth’s youngest daughter Darlene and her husband Nathan.
