Do I need to bring a receipt with me to Christmas at the Farm Experience?
Yes. Please check in at the Admission Booth upon arrival and present your booking confirmation/QR code on your phone or printed.
Note: the number of children/adults attending must match the numbers indicated on this ticket receipt. Please let our Admission Staff know upon arrival if the names of the children registered have changed.
What time does my Christmas at the Farm experience start?
Your Christmas at the Farm experience start time will be stated on your booking confirmation.
Can I show up earlier than my time frame?
The Farm will admit tickets no earlier than 15 minutes prior to your check-in time.
Can I just show up without a Christmas at the Farm ticket?
Santa is very busy and unable to meet with those who show up without a Christmas at the Farm ticket. Christmas at the Farm is a pre-registered event and we are not able to accommodate walk-in visitors. Do not bring additional guests. Please bring your booking confirmation with you on the day of your scheduled visit.
Do I need to pay for my baby?
Babies under the age of 12 months are no charge. All guests ages 1 years and older must purchase a ticket.
Can I change my booking date or time?
No, all Christmas at the Farm bookings are final.
Can I cancel my booking and get a refund?
You may cancel your visit to Christmas at the Farm (please email us at info@downeysfarm.com if you are unable to attend).
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds. All sales are final.
What happens if I lose or forget my ticket receipt?
If you lose or forget your ticket receipt, please bring a valid identification that corresponds with the name on your ticket receipt purchase and the Admission Staff will assist you.
Can I transfer my tickets to another family if I am unable to attend?
Transfers will be considered on a case-by-case basis, because Santa needs to have the correct information for meeting families. If you are unable to attend the program and you are considering selling or transferring your tickets, please email us at info@downeysfarm.com and we will provide you with information on how to do so safely and correctly.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept transfers that we are unaware of.
Note: Keep in mind when considering selling/transferring your tickets – you may only transfer your tickets to ONE FAMILY.
What do I wear?
Dress Appropriately for the weather and for the farm. The farm will be cooler than in the city as we are not surrounded by buildings. Tuques, Mittens, Snow pants, Winter Coats…you will have more fun if you are warm!! This is an outdoor event and no area is heated.
Can I take my own pictures?
Absolutely! Please remember your camera to capture those memories.
Are pets allowed?
Only Service Animals are permitted at the farm Park. Please bring documents and your pet must wear its vest.
If the Farm Store open?
YES! The Farm Store is open for Bakery, Winery, Pre-Cut Christmas Trees, Gift Baskets, Christmas Gifts, Preserves and more!
What happens if I get delayed on the way to Downey’s Farm?
Please contact Downey’s Farm at 905-838-2990 or email us at info@downeysfarm.com if you are delayed. Unfortunately, Christmas at the Farm is a pre-registered event and all experience times must start on time. Downey’s Farm Staff will try to accommodate you the best they can when you arrive. Please allow sufficient time for any unforeseen traffic, weather conditions, etc.
